This section explains the backend infrastructure that powers SuperPumped’s leverage protocol. It describes how the system stores critical trading data, coordinates services, manages capital movements, and recovers safely from partial failures. Rather than relying on a single source of truth, SuperPumped combines persistent storage, specialized backend services, and deterministic reconciliation to ensure every leveraged position remains accurate, recoverable, and operationally reliable.

6.1 Introduction

Introduces the backend architecture as the operational foundation of SuperPumped. Instead of adapting generic spot trading systems, the protocol uses a dedicated leverage infrastructure with specialized data models and services to manage the complete lifecycle of leveraged positions.

Explains how SuperPumped stores all critical leverage-related information, including position records, funding states, execution wallets, vault reservations, risk snapshots, lifecycle events, fee accounting, and audit logs. This persistent data enables accurate tracking, recovery, and operational transparency throughout the protocol.

Describes the collection of specialized backend services responsible for different parts of the leverage lifecycle. Dedicated services handle quote generation, position opening, capital management, settlement, reconciliation, lifecycle management, funding coordination, system health monitoring, and execution wallet operations, ensuring clear separation of responsibilities and modular system design.

6.4 Reconciliation as a First-Class Capability

Explains the protocol’s recovery-first approach to handling failures. Instead of restarting entire workflows after interruptions, SuperPumped records sufficient metadata to safely resume incomplete operations, reconcile capital movements, and prevent duplicate transactions or inconsistent financial states.

Describes the backend API that exposes all major protocol functionality, including quote generation, leverage operations, position management, settlement, reconciliation, event tracking, runtime configuration, and administrative controls. The API serves as both the product interface for users and the operational interface for protocol management.
